New: The Four Seasons Marbella Resort

Marbella is already known worldwide as the jewel of the Costa del Sol, but the city is poised to further cement its status as the ultimate luxury destination. With the official approval of the plans, it’s now official: the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel & Resort is coming to Marbella!

This is fantastic news for lovers of exclusive real estate and (future) owners of a second home in the region. It’s not just any hotel, but a massive project that also includes hundreds of luxury branded residences. We’ve outlined the key details of this mega-project for you.

A prime location in East Marbella

The resort is being built in the sought-after Río Real / El Pinar area in East Marbella. It is one of the very last large plots (a whopping 32 hectares!) located directly on the coast. The complex stretches along both sides of the A-7 and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, the lush gardens, and the characteristic Andalusian landscape.

Living in Four Seasons Style

The project, with an estimated total investment value of nearly €700 million, is the most ambitious of its kind in Andalusia. In addition to a luxury hotel with 120 rooms and suites, it will feature up to 486 exclusive private residences.

The selection ranges from apartments and townhouses to spectacular villas. As the owner of a branded residence, you’ll enjoy not only a beautiful home but also the legendary 5-star service and amenities of Four Seasons.

World-Class Facilities

The resort is designed as a luxurious, “village-like” complex where you’ll want for nothing:

  • A culinary treat: Six to seven top-rated restaurants led by renowned chefs.
  • Beach Life: An impressive 720-meter coastline featuring both an exclusive private beach club for residents and hotel guests, as well as a public beach club on the west side.
  • Wellness & Sports: A state-of-the-art spa, expansive parks (over 65,000 m² of green space), and more than 6,200 m² of sports facilities.

A Boost for Infrastructure

The arrival of the Four Seasons is good news not only for buyers, but for the entire region. Over €9 million is being invested in local infrastructure, including a new parallel road, a roundabout, a safe pedestrian bridge, and noise barriers. This will significantly improve traffic flow and safety around the A-7. The Schedule: When can you move in?

Developing a project of this scale takes time, but we have set our sights on the goal:

  • Pre-sale start: Expected in the first half of 2027. This is when pre-reservations are likely to be accepted.
  • First completions: Scheduled for late 2029.
  • Full completion: Expected between 2031 and 2032.

The arrival of Four Seasons is a huge boost to Marbella’s reputation for quality and will only further enhance the appeal of the local real estate market.
