Starlite Festival Marbella Expands to Selwo Estepona

The annual Starlite Festival in Marbella is expanding to Selwo Estepona.

Starlite Marbella is a must-see cultural festival on the Costa del Sol that lasts a full three months. Originally held in Marbella (Cantera de Nagüeles), this unique festival is known for its intimate open-air concerts, where both international and national artists perform in the magical setting of an authentic quarry. You simply have to experience it!

Although the exact lineup may vary from year to year, in the past we’ve been treated to performances by world-famous artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Lenny Kravitz, Seal, Andrea Bocelli, and Jason Derulo, as well as Spanish stars like Alejandro Sanz and Rosario Flores.

The expansion in Estepona is located next to Selwo Aventura Park and has a capacity of 15,000 visitors—four times that of the Marbella venue. This provides space for large-scale concerts and a stage for film shoots. The new venue will also feature a hotel, a conference center, a lake, and an artificial quarry, paying homage to the festival’s original location.

According to Marbella Second Home, all of this is a good sign that Estepona is booming, making it a fantastic place to stay on the Costa del Sol. It’s not yet clear when the site will be ready for use, but in the meantime, we’re already looking forward to the official launch of Starlite Marbella!
